Who we are
DanioStore Pakistan (this website) is run by Danio LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, United States. Postal address: 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE #5279, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. For anything about your information, use the contact page.
When you place an order
We ask for your name, phone number, your email address if you give one, your delivery address and any note you add, together with the items you choose. We use them to confirm the order with you by phone or message, to deliver it, to collect the cash payment, and to handle returns or questions about it. We need this information to fulfil the order you asked for.
Who else sees it, and only what they need:
- The courier gets your name, phone number and delivery address.
- Our supplier gets the same details when they send the item to you directly, which is how many of our items are shipped.
- Our inbox: a notice of each order, with these details, is emailed to the business inbox we read orders from, which is a Google Gmail account.
When you send us a message
The message bubble in the corner of the store saves your question, your email address, your name if you give it, and the page you were on, and emails them to our inbox so we can reply. To stop abuse we also keep a one-way scrambled code (a salted hash) made from your internet address, not the address itself. The contact form sends your name, your email or phone number and your message to our inbox by email; it is not saved in the store's database.
Our own visit statistics
To see which pages and products are useful and where people give up, the store records its own visit statistics on our server, not with an outside company. For each visit it keeps: the pages you open, the products you look at or add to the cart, quantities, an order number if you order, the website that sent you there (only its name), campaign tags in the link (utm tags), whether you use a phone, tablet or computer, and your country as a two-letter code.
- A visit is identified by a random code kept in your browser tab (session storage), not a cookie. A new code starts after 30 quiet minutes or in a new tab.
- It never records your name, email, phone number, address, message text, internet (IP) address or browser details.
- Nothing is recorded if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
- These records are deleted automatically after 90 days. If you place an order, the order is linked to the visit it came from.
Google Analytics
We also use Google Analytics 4 to count visits. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and sends Google the pages you view, your device and browser type, your approximate location, and store events such as viewing or adding a product, starting checkout and placing an order (with the order number, items and total). We do not send Google your name, email, phone number or address. It loads when you open the store. You can block it with your browser's cookie or tracker settings, or with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Google handles this data under the Google Privacy Policy.
Cookies and browser storage
- Google Analytics cookies, as described above.
- Your cart is kept in your browser (local storage) so it is still there when you come back. It is not sent to us until you check out.
- Session storage holds the visit code above and small markers so the same notice or event is not repeated in one visit.
- We use no advertising cookies and no social-media trackers.
Where your information is kept
The store, its database and the mail server that sends our order and message notices run on a server we rent from OVHcloud. Backups of the database are kept for up to 30 days. Like most websites, the server also keeps short technical logs of requests (internet address, time, page and browser) to keep the site secure and working.
How long we keep it
- Visit statistics: 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Orders: as long as we need them to deliver, handle returns and keep the business and tax records the law asks for.
- Messages: until your question is dealt with and we no longer need it. Ask us and we delete it sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We do this unless we must keep an order record by law, and we tell you if that is the case. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Children
This store is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change how we use your information we update this page and the date below.
